Hi, we're Adacta — a leading software provider for the insurance industry. We are inviting you to become a member of our Finance team and acquire new knowledge and experiences with us.

Once you're here, you will:

• Posting received and issued invoices (AP/AR).
• Preparing weekly payments and posting bank statements.
• Managing fixed assets, posting depreciation and other business events.
• Assisting with monthly reporting to the group.
• Maintaining the general ledger.
• Preparing VAT returns and other local statistical reports.
• Communication with customers and suppliers.
• Support with annual closing and participation in audits.
• Cooperation with other members of our international finance team.
• Work at a global level (for our offices across Europe).

Location: Ljubljana (with the possibility of working from home up to three days a week)

Who are we looking for?  

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Slovenian accounting and tax regulations.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Navision) is desirable, but not required.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Accuracy, reliability, and a responsible attitude towards work.
